Ephesians 3:16
that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with might through his Spirit in the inner man,
It remains an undeniable fact that there is an ongoing struggle between the spirit and the flesh.
Daily we are confronted with appealing and attractive yet sin infested elements that aim at consuming us and drawing us away from God’s love.
And a conscious awareness of these awaken us to the need to allow God to continually pour out his strength and grace to enable us surmount such hurdles of trials and temptations.
The means of executing that is what Apostle Paul unveils that we would be strengthened with might by God’s Spirit in our inner man.
For evil desires and temptous passions emanate from our inner man hence winning the battle internally guarantees victory externally.
Beloved, what are we grappling with right now. What has filled our hands that we are battling to overcome.
What have our eyes seen, our ears heard and our minds conceived which could spark obvious wrong and plunge us into the river of iniquity.
May we strengthened with might in our inner man. For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men teaching us to say No to all forms of ungodliness.
Receive strength to stand the immoral test, corruption trial, enticing invitation for pleasure and having done all to stand in Jesus name.
