Genesis 27:28
May God give you of heaven’s dew and of earth’s richness–an abundance of grain and new wine.

We have established that Christ is God’s grand masterplan.
He is the mystery of the Godhead and the incomprehensible phenomenon.
Hence the entire scriptures have one theme, one purpose, one agenda – To reveal Christ.
Consequently, the lives of the old testament patriarchs dramatized the reality of the good things to come which is Christ.
They lived their lives ordinarily but their lives were painting the picture of the Sovereign agenda – CHRIST.
So when Isaac laid on the altar of sacrifice, it was a typology of how Christ would be laid and crucified.
Now when Isaac sat up to bless Jacob, it was a typology of the glorified Christ conferring gifts to men.
Like Isaac, in Christ are hid the treasures of the deep and the riches of all eternity.
For out of Christ comes the dew of heaven and the richness of the earth.
Beloved, dew is symbolic of fertility, multiplication. In Christ, we come to the place of fruitfulness.
Dew is an emblem of love and harmony and is synonymous with the rich spiritual blessings.
For blessed be the Lord God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in Christ(Eph. 1:3)
Dew brings a sense of freshness. Dew unlocks the waves of refreshment.
Dew is symbolic of glory and influence and the mystery that has been hid in ages is now manifest to the saints which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
Therefore to by pass Christ is to place one’s life on the pathway of dryness and emptiness.
But to encounter Christ, discover Christ, deepen Christ and fellowship with Christ is to stay continuously under the refreshing dew of heaven.
Let the dew of heaven bring us refreshing and show us thy glory once more. Selah
SING ALONG
You deserve the glory and the honour
Lord we lift our hands in worship
As we lift your holy name
For you are great
You do miracles so great
There’s no one else like you
There’s no one else like you
