Daniel 3:25
“Look!” he answered, “I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.”
Something was happening. Nebuchadnezzar was awestruck and dumb founded.
An amazing spectacle had befallen on him which he could not bring himself to interprete.
Three men who stood for their faith and were thrown into a fiery furnace bound are now loosed in the company of one whose appearance is like the Son of the Most High. Halleluya.
That was the confession of this heathen gentile king.
This was another revelation of Christ in the old testament.
And if there is any desire I’m praying for, beloved, it would be that we would encounter CHRIST, THE 4TH MAN in this fourth month.
Paul says that that we may know him and the power of his resurrection.
He notes that he resolved to know nothing except Christ and him crucified.
For the knowledge of Christ is the big deal for until a man encounters truth, his freedom is not in view.
And this truth is a person whose name is Jesus Christ.
No wonder convinced of this truth, the Hebrew young men could face up to King Nebuchadnezzar, our God is able to deliver us from your hands.
May we encounter Christ in another dimension beginning from today.
May the revelation of Christ hit our spirits, captivate souls and consume our flesh.
May every desire in us be Christo-centred, Christo-focused and Christo-driven.
Don’t forget we might have been bound with the issues of life but our encounter with Christ the 4th man will cause us to walk in the fires of destiny loosed and unhurt.
May that be our testimony in Jesus name.
