Psalms 18:16
He reached down from on high and took hold of me; he drew me out of deep waters.
Studying through Nehemiah, my footsteps were directed to make a detour in the book of Psalms and was struck with this word.
David wrote this Psalms when God delivered him severally from the hand of Saul.
And it is based on this adequate knowledge, we can encourage ourselves that God will reach for you.
To reach for someone means to rescue, to deliver, to save or to bring that person out of an undesirable condition.
According to David, God took hold of him and drew him out of deep waters.
Beloved, what are the deep waters threatening to drown you.
Is it the waters of insecurity, afflictions, financial downturn, ministerial setbacks, marital challenges, loss of jobs or how you would be facing the panel today?
Listen, God will reach down with his strong hand and take hold of you.
You will be divinely airlifted out of that precarious situation.
For the hand of the Lord on any rescue mission returns with the victim safe and unscratched.
This week, no trap from hell will hold you for even at the moment of drowning, God’s hand will reach for you.
One thing is certain, with God on our side, rapid response is always assured. Selah
