Nehemiah 2:1
And it came to pass in the month of Nisan, in the twentieth year of King Artaxerxes, when wine was before him, that I took the wine and gave it to the king. Now I had never been sad in his presence before.
A very important aspect of Nehemiah’s life was how God’s favour located and spoke for him.
In fact, he received the news of the deplorable state of Jerusalem in Chislev, the ninth 
month on the Jewish calendar but Favour started speaking for him after many days of prayer in Nisan, the first month of the new year.
For it was a huge risk to wear a sullen face before a king as his cup bearer.
But favour had been activated hence courage was in force to pave way for Nehemiah to have access.
Beloved, favour is defined as God’s unfair partiality upon a man that plants him and escorts him to extraordinary places.
It is the tangible evidence of divine approval for a person.
Nehemiah risked being killed on suspicion for wearing a sad look but favour altered the rules positively for his sake.
This week is your Nisan week where God’s favour will fall like morning rains upon you.
For where favour reigns, struggles drain.
For favour will increase our influence, break limitations, redeem missed opportunities and open many doors of possibilities.
Beloved, we have been praying through out this year and in this month, may Yahweh unlock the doors of heaven and release uncommon favours our way.
For only favour is the catalyst that can cause even slaves to confer with kings and ride on horses with royals.
May that be our testimony this week in Jesus name.
