Proverbs 21:30
No wisdom, no understanding, no counsel, can avail against the LORD.
There is nothing as assuring in this life than going into any kind of engagement with an entity whose presence guarantees victory.
With such an One, we can be at rest knowing that the battle is a done deal.
This is what the wiseman notes about the Lord and is drawing our attention to this morning.
Who can stand against the Lord? No wisdom, no understanding nor counsel can prevail against God.
We can dwell in comfort because nothing can stand against the Lord.
At the blast of his nostrils, the nations scatter into pieces.
He sneezes and Satan and demonic strongholds catch cold.
He upholds us by his righteous mighty hand.
Just his finger at work plaque Egypt so much that their magicians testified shamefully.
But come to think of if, who would want to stand against God. It is a complete mismatch for the created to contend against the creator.
He sits enthroned and the earth is like grasshoppers in his sight.
He upholds the seas in the hollow of his hand and folds the clouds like a carpet.
Please let no entity try God because it’s a non-starter.
This is why we can be rest assured if we know and believe in this God for if God be for us, nothing can be against us.
Step out into this day with this confidence assurance of this rhema. Selah
