Proverbs 3:25-26
Do not be afraid of sudden panic, or of the ruin of the wicked, when it comes;for the LORD will be your confidence and will keep your foot from being caught.
How would you feel when you awaken to a text message which reads: The Lord loves you very much.
It settles your soul, calms your fears and inspires hope in you to keep pressing on. Selah
This is the same word of assurance from the mines of wisdom this morning.
For sometimes, we are suddenly panicked by some bad news, health condition, loss of finance, disturbing actions and the like.
Other times, our lives seem to be invaded by wicked men desiring just to eliminate us, kill our joy, deflate our elevation and totally ruin us.
These wicked folks are in the rank and file of our workplaces, homes, communities even churches.
But the word says the Lord is our confidence.
Listen, one with God is still a huge majority in the battle of life.
The Lord is my confidence means he is my assuring partner, my sustained comfort, my consistent support, ever-dependable aid and loyal helper.
You are very afraid but may God be your confidence.
You seem to be slipping on that slippery ground of temptations but may God’s hand uphold you.
Many issues have engaged your mind and you are already tired even before the week has started, find rest in the sofa of divine confidence.
Listen, you shall not fall and remain there. Nothing will cripple your dreams and destiny neither will the trappings of wickedness catch up with you.
For if the Lord is your confidence, how shall you fail? Selah
