Proverbs 1:2
That men may know wisdom and instruction, understand words of insight,
In the tenth month of our devotional studies, God laid it upon my heart for us to journey through the book of proverbs.
This I have termed “Mines of Wisdom” just like miners go exploring for precious minerals underneath the earth so shall we be digging the pages of the book meditatively to unveil the gems under each line and precept.
We begin our discourse with the essence of proverbs. It is important to note that most of the book of proverbs were written by Solomon, King of Israel.
The book was intended for us to know wisdom and instruction.
So in proverbs, we knock on the doors of inquiry to know and discover wisdom.
It is in proverbs we know and are taught to embrace wisdom.
The manifold pages of Proverbs are strategically contented so that we can understand wisdom and insight and walk therein.
So come along and let’s explore this mining hub picking the gold which is good. Selah
