The blood of Jesus washes & clean
1Pe 1:18-19 …Knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.
Blood is the force of life. Blood is the river that flows through the veins of humanity. Blood carries our very existence. Blood is our life wire.

We cannot live without it, stay without it and survive without it.
Show me an anaemic person and I will show you a man and woman who has set pace on the road of death.
Without blood, life grounds to a halt but with blood, survival is inevitable. No wonder from our conversations, Apostle Peter is quick to point out where our redemption surfaces – THE PRECIOUS #BLOOD OF #CHRIST.
Gold and silver are precious but are corruptible. They have value but can depreciate. They have a price but can be bought cheaply. No matter how expensive gold and silver are, they are subject to corruption, decay and deteroration.
However, no one encounters THE PRECIOUS BLOOD OF CHRIST and leave without a tangible evidence of transformation.
The precious blood is the gem of hope. It is the light of change. It is the anchor of renewal and the bedrock of newness.

We hear marketers of detergents vigorously advertising their acclaimed timetested stain removers like Omo,Ariel, So Klin and the like.
But i know of one stain remover, it washes and clean the soul of a man leaving no trace of dark spots. It is the #precious blood of Christ.

The precious blood is produced by the chemical components of the Father’s love, the Son’s mercy and the Spirit’s wilingness.
The precious blood of Christ is the pleasing sacrifice. It is the acceptable substance. It is the appeasing component which the Father values.
This blood is effective to bring the needed change in a man’s destiny. The blood of Christ is a name changer and a newness pill.
Criminals bumped into this precious blood and became saints. Drunkards, smokers, gossips, immorals, wicked, shameless, immorals shared tables with the precious blood and left totally renewed and transformed.
It is the blood that gives strength to face tommorrow knowing that in the blood, the dictates of the new covenant is affirmed.
Of a truth and indeed, it is only the Precious Blood of Christ which speaks better things for me. Glorious communion sunday beloved.
