Acts 1:5
For John baptised with water but IN A FEW DAYS you will be baptised with Holy Spirit.
A prophetic trumpet has been put on my mouth and I want to blow it to announce God’s intentions and purposes for us.
This is Jesus speaking to his disciples. It was a farewell final remarks before his supernatural ascension to Heaven.
Many thoughts were going through the minds of these men who had left everything to follow Christ.
But what a way to assure them.
Jesus was emphatic… IN A FEW DAYS, you will be baptised with the Holy Ghost.
All these men knew was John’s baptism but IN A FEW DAYS, they were about to encounter something different.
And this morning, I hear God say IN A FEW DAYS, your status will change.
In a few days, there will be a redefinition of your destiny.
In a few days, God will bring clarity to your vision for life and existence.
In a few days, you will walk out of those clutches strengthened in your limbs and loins.
In a few days, God will turn your mourning into dancing.
In a few days, we will lift up our eyes and be caught up in the clouds.
In a few days, our earthly tent of sorrow, disease, pain and distress will pave way for an immortal house of glory, beauty and honour.
In a few days, we will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
In a few days, he will put a new song in your mouth – a song of praise to our God.
In a few days, we shall eat in plenty and be satisfied and glorify the name of the Lord.
Beloved, hold on and keep your expectancy radar up to pick up the signal because in a few days, you will become an awe in the eyes of men. Selah
